All Chloride equipment is subject to stringent testing to ensure reliable operation on nuclear sites. These tests include: Vibration tests, seismic tests, climatic tests, ageing tests, electrical tests (new Forsmark test) and EMC tests.
This video shows a typical seismic test. Note the LED lights and LCD screen are both on throughout the test, showing that the UPS continues to operate despite the rough treatment. This level of reliability is essential in nuclear power protection.
