Hello to 186mph - St Pancras International
|
The new St Pancras International is now open, offering high-speed rail links to the continent and taking British rail travel into the 21st century. This stunning new station has attracted many visitors and is fast becoming a tourist attraction in its own right.
The vital power supply to this futuristic building is maintained by six 60 kVA 70-NET units in addition to a number of existing Chloride UPS situated in the Thameslink and London Underground sections of St Pancras. |

This installation continues our strong association with Network Rail in Britain and High Speed 1 – Chloride was also selected to protect the signalling and communications of the line between the end of the Channel Tunnel and St Pancras International– see KIP Issue 8 for the full article on this part of the project. |
