The Chloride Academy to offer scholarships in collaboration with Bologna University

The Chloride Academy’s investment in talent and quest for excellence has recently sparked a new training project in collaboration with Professor Domenico Casadei, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department of the University of Bologna and Chloride R&D managers.

“It is a great honour to be partnering with the University of Bologna to offer such a high profile opportunity to promising young engineers,” says Academy Director, Roberta Gentile. “The experienced gained through these scholarships will prove to be invaluable for the students and a great asset to the company.”

While the Academy is highly regarded in the secure power sector for its innovative professional training programs it also highly active in forming partnerships such as this one with the University of Bologna.

In harnessing and preserving the strong technical culture both within the company and the community, the Chloride Academy supports many other ongoing training projects investing a great deal of time in sharing the company’s expert technical knowledge and skills with students through periodic seminars, workshops, open days, factory tours, internships and summer school programs.

“Through such partnerships and initiatives we strive to create opportunities for promising young talent offering them the power to learn and grow both professionally and personally, we think it is very important for the industry,” commented Ms Gentile.
