LIFE for generators
The remote monitoring of generator sets extends LIFE.net’s horizons towards your entire Critical Power System; a system which can sometimes be highly complex and of which the UPS is just one part. Surveillance of generators guarantees maximum power availability under the most critical of conditions and forms an essential element of Chloride’s life-long post sales support for critical power systems.

Chloride’s LIFE.net monitors the key operating parameters likely to impact the starting availability of a diesel engine whilst in standby mode. These include cranking battery voltage, engine block temperature and fuel tank contents - the fundamental factors to keep under control in order to ensure correct start-up of the generator in the event of power loss. |
It guarantees continuous surveillance of customer equipment 24 hours a day, seven days a week, backed by Chloride’s permanently manned UK Service Centre. Any anomalies will be identified immediately and service engineers can be dispatched to site in the shortest time possible, already equipped with the information needed to resolve the situation.
